RuPaul Wants Honey Boo Boo For A Duet: 'I Love Anybody Who Dances To The Beat Of A Different Drummer'

Who Wants Honey Boo Boo To Sing On Their Duet Album?

Honey Boo Boo, a.k.a. Alana Thompson, is in high demand these days. Now, drag queen RuPaul wants the pint-sized beauty queen to sing on his duet album.

"I'm doing a duet record and I'm here to ask Honey Boo Boo Child to be my duet partner!" RuPaul told E! News at the MTV VMA's in New York City. Adding, "I love anybody who dances to the beat of a different drummer."

RuPaul told E! News that 7-year-old Thompson understands drag. "She is the queen. She understands what drag is. That's what pageants are. That's why pageants are so lovely."

He is certainly a fan of the TLC star:

The "RuPaul's Drag Race" star started out in the music biz when he released his first album "Supermodel of the World" in 1993 with the smash dance hit "Supermodel (You Better Work)."

He is no stranger to duets. He sang with Elton John on John's 1993 album, "Duets." The two collaborated on John's song, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart." John originally recorded the song in 1976 with Kiki Dee.

His latest album, "Glamazon," was released in April 2011 and debuted on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart at No. 11, with 2,000 copies sold, Billboard reported.

As for Thompson, she has not focused on a music career yet. However, the "Toddlers & Tiaras" alum is not afraid to stretch her vocal cords from time to time. She has been making up her own melodies, such as her "Honey Boo Boo Child" song and a ditty about Kim Kardashian.

RuPaul even thinks Thompson could follow in Kardashian's footsteps.
