So Cal Man Is A Millionaire & Doesn't Know It

Someone in Riverside, Calif. is a multi-millionaire and doesn’t even know it.

A $120 Mega Million jackpot ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven store near the UC Riverside campus, the California Lottery announced Wednesday on its website.

The person who purchased the ticket has not yet come forward to claim the big prize.

This is very special,” Cathy Baker, inland state lotto sales manager, told the Press Enterprise. “And we hope to see them soon.”

Whoever won the ticket has the option of receiving $120 million, paid over 26 years, or receiving an immediate lump sum of $92.1 million before taxes.

The owner of the lucky Riverside 7-Eleven will receive a bonus of $600,000 for selling the winning ticket, according to the California Lottery.

Lottery officials are urging the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately with their address and turn it in to the regional lottery office in San Benardino at 1840 Commerce Center Circle. The winning numbers were: 5, 11, 20, 33, 36 and Mega number 11.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 176 million, according to Mega Millions.

Lottery officials were at the store Wednesday morning hanging signs that a millionaire was made there, according to the Enterprise.
