Romney's next move will be to say "If we focus on foreign policy we are going to lose" so he'll start talking about rising gas prices, and probably blame it on the EPA and regulations.

Unless Romney decisively wins the debates he loses Colorado. Obama has about an average of a 4% lead in a state with a great Democratic turnout machine (they turned back the GOP in 2010).

I don't get why Pollster has not added a trend chart for Colorado? I mean, New Mexico has one but the CO polls have been closer from what I've seen and NM is only close if Johnson is included. We all know that the majority of third party runs generally poll well early but fade as election day nears. So because of that I believe CO is a legitimate swing state and New Mexico is not, pollster even concedes that with their EV map. So I do not understand why there is no trend chart.

This whole Libya/Egypt thing is blowing up in Obama's face. His team tried to pin it on Romney for attacking him too early. Don't know how that's any type of response. Then the left wing media attacked Romney for the same thing saying he was politicizing the event. It's too bad the Internet exists cause it shows Obama doing the same thing in 2008 numerous times, the most egregious of which was when 9 US soldiers were killed.

CNN keeps going back and forth between live shots of the Cairo embassy protesters and the Chicago union strikers.

The two mobs look kinda similar. The main difference I am picking up is the Cairo crowd cares about children.

Thought you might like to read aletter from a former teacher in ths CPS system:

Things I did as a teacher in the CPS: 1. Bought 90% of school supplies with own money.
2. Bought a projector with my own money.
3.Bought a document camera with my own money.
4. Bought a copy machine with my own money. Teachers were not allowed to use the one in the office.
5.Went weeks without being paid due to mistakes by the board, multiple times.
6.Dodged Bullets, more than once, literally.
7.Saw an attempted murder on the schools security camera.
8. Had 2 Cell phones, an Ipad and Ipod stolen from my locked room.
9.Was given the "option" to purchase my own classroom key after a substitute walked off with mine.
10. Taught a class of 41 seventh graders after an assistant principal decided not to teach that year.
11. Spent hours on the phone with CPS after they dropped her newborn from her insurance coverage by mistake.
12. Bought supplies and awards with own money.
13. Broke up fight between two 7th grade pregnant girls.
14. Raised test scores every year.

A small and flexible supplies budget would really help good teachers do their job. It seems that teachers of all types (public and private) are generally given no mechanism for buying supplies and good teachers end up spending their own money when they want to enrich their classrooms. I see that here in Ohio all the time.

I went to try and apply for a job at the Chicago Public School system. Why not? $75k in salary plus another $15k in benefits per year to work 6 hours a day and less than half a year just so their students can stay illiterate and I have no chance of being fired? I'll do it for half the raise they are demanding!

Duh, teachers don't just work the time that they are in the classroom, but that would require knowledge about what a teacher actually does. They can't put their money in the Cayman Islands like your friend Mitt Romney and pay income taxes at a 13% rate.
