"American Horror Story: Asylum" premieres on Oct. 17, and Jenna Dewan and Adam Levine have both stayed quiet on the details of their upcoming onscreen relationship.

However, Dewan is willing to talk about one thing in regards to the FX series: Her audition with the Maroon 5 frontman.

"I read with Adam [Levine] for a chemistry test," Dewan told Vulture. "Chemistry tests are always so funny. 'Hi, nice to meet you. Let’s be intimate.' But, you know, as far as chemistry reads can go, this one was really easy to do. He’s just a super-nice, friendly, open guy. Our personalities matched right away."

In addition to keeping quiet on the details of his role, Levine admitted he's too afraid to watch the show.

"I'm still too scared to watch it," he told MTV news. "But I'm gonna try and beat my fear of really creepy, scary things like that by doing it. I think that's a good way to tackle that fear."

"American Horror Story: Asylum" premieres on Wed., Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. on FX.
