No one's complaining about the mini "Dawson's Creek" reunion developing on ABC's "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23" -- especially not Busy Philipps.

"I had so much fun!" Philipps told reporters about appearing with her old "Dawson's" co-star James Van Der Beek. "James Van Der Beek called me up personally and he said, 'So you know this offer you have to come on my show ... I really want you to do it.' My agents told me, 'They want you to play a slightly funny, b----y version of yourself. Are you in?' Of course I was."

While Philipps was quick to shoot down rumors of Michelle Williams -- who played Jen Lindley -- appearing on the series, she didn't say the same for Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter).

"You'll have to tune in and see," she said. "But much in the same way that James plays this alter ego, James Van Der Beek, that's obviously nowhere near what he has going on in real life, that's what they do with my character and it's fun. My character of Busy Philipps shows up to basically tell him the way that everyone feels about him from the cast. It gets interesting."

There's still no word on whether Katie Holmes would appear on the show for a Joey-Dawson reunion, but Van Der Beek is rooting for her.

"I'd love to see her saucier side," Van Der Beek told TV Guide regarding Holmes making an appearance. "I think it would be fun if she came on as herself, but a demented, bizarro version."

"Don't Trust The B--- In Apartment 23" returns on Tues., Oct. 23 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
