Kurt Wrobel, University Of Idaho Student, Expected To Make Full Recovery After Falling Off Of Frat House Roof

Posted: Updated:

A student at the University of Idaho is in stable condition after falling off the roof of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Kurt Wrobel, a member of the frat, was reportedly locked out and went on the roof to attempt getting in the house. He slipped and fell, and sustained internal injuries, broken bones and injuries to his face.

Wrobel was taken to a nearby medical center and later transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash. where's he's expected to make a full recovery.

Police believe the frost helped to make the roof even more slippery than it otherwise would have been.

Police told KLEW alcohol was also involved. The AP reports Wrobel was drinking at a party at another frat house.
