'Very Bad Men': Sam Pirrera Accused Of Burning Wife's Body Parts

A disturbing story with many unanswered questions unfolded on "Very Bad Men" that left no doubt that Sam Pirrera fit the title of this show. His mother-in-law told a story of an incident where she found her daughter beaten, and confronted him.

"Her face was all swollen up," Lisa said. "I looked at Sam and said, ‘You did that to her.’ He smiled."

But that was just the tip of the iceberg. When Lisa's daughter told her mother she intended to leave Pierrera, she disappeared for eight years. Pirrera told his mother-in-law that her daughter, Beverly, had run away from him and even left her kids. But Lisa was never sure about that.

Finally, it all started catching up to Pirrera. Police found body parts in various coolers inside his house, discovering that the victim was a prostitute. But was this his only victim? What about Beverly?

Police suspected Pirrera, a steelworker, disposed of his victims' body parts at work by burning them. And before they could get him to trial, Pirrera died of a massive heroin overdose in jail, leaving a trail of questions that may never be answered.
