Adil Hoshur And Two Apprentices Reportedly Set Tightrope World Record In China (VIDEO)

Three tightrope walkers in China have set the world record for simultaneously walking across a 1,400-meter (4,593-foot) wire, ITN News reports.

According to Sky News, Adil Hoshur, Ayshem Guli and Shatyr walked across the wire -- which was over 1,100 feet above the ground -- without safety nets or harnesses.

Video of the feat shows one of the daredevils, delicately balancing with the help of a pole, walk over another member of the trio.

ABC News adds that the wire was stretched across Dehang canyon, which is located in the Hunan Province in south-central China.

In July, Aisikaier, a sixth-generation tightrope walker in China, survived a fall from a tightrope that in some places was 650 feet above the ground.
