Blommers & Schumm Create Trippy Fashion Optical Illusions For Hector Magazine (PHOTOS)

Unless you count the miraculously shrinking waistline of fashion models, we hardly ever see optical illusions in fashion spreads.

So when we spotted the trippy optical art from Blommers & Schumm for Hector Magazine we were instantly obsessed. The Bridget Riley-like stripes mask slouching chic figures that seem to hide the harder you look for them. Since they'll only show themselves when you stop caring, get your best "Blue Steel" face on and take a look.

The artists, who we originally saw on Its Nice That, briefly described the project in an e-mail to The Huffington Post: "Hector Magazine asked us to do something with the theme 'fashion on strike.' We thought it could be nice you can only see the image when you turn the page or when you move the image or walk away from it, the closer you get the more difficult it is to see, it messes a bit with the mind."
