Kathie Lee Gifford teared up over Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker's show of support for her newest endeavor on Monday.

In July, Kathie Lee announced that "Scandalous," the musical she has been working on for about thirteen years, is finally coming to Broadway. Tickets went on sale Monday.

Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb were hosting the fourth hour of "Today," when the cameras cut to a live shot of people waiting outside the theater. "Is that really a line??" Kathie Lee asked in disbelief.

Then, Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie jumped out of the front doors, waving tickets to the first night of the show. "And we paid full price!" Al jokingly exclaimed. Matt joked that they had actually wanted to buy tickets to see "The Lion King."

"Oh you guys, this means the world to me. Thank you, " Kathie Lee said, tearing up. "Everybody has been so unbelievably supportive."
