Summer is over, but that doesn't mean "Call Me Maybe" has stopped being a cultural phenomenon: Just this week, Carly Rae Jepsen's smash hit was paired with the du jour single of the moment, Psy's "Gangnam Style," to produce yet another mashup. All of which is to say that "Call Me Maybe" has reached pervasive levels. So, does that mean Jepsen herself is tired of the Song of the Summer?

"So far, so good," Jepsen told Vulture during an interview for her new album, Kiss. "I mean, my grandma once said to me when I was a little girl, you know, 'Be careful of the songs that you write or sing. You never know, you might be singing them for the rest of your life.' And, man, was she right."

Jepsen's song spent nine straight weeks on top of the Billbord Hot 100. Throughout the summer it was covered by everyone from Kelly Clarkson to Justin Bieber, who helped discover the 26-year-old singer.

"I remember seeing the YouTube spoof with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Tisdale and thinking, 'That looks a lot like Justin Bieber— oh my gosh, that is him!'" she told Glamour.
