Johnny Weir Not A Fan Of 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo'

Johnny Weir vs. Honey Boo Boo

Miniature beauty queen and reality star Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson is taking America by storm. However, another reality star, Johnny Weir, whose show just returned to the Logo network for a second season, admits he isn’t a fan. In fact, he says the entire Thompson family terrifies him.

“I didn’t know what a Honey Boo Boo was until just the other day,” says Johnny. “There is nothing lovable about that child or her family. At least I’m a little bit lovable. They scare the sh*t out of me, those people. Honey Boo Boo has to live a little more to be the new Johnny Weir.”

As Season 2 of "Be Good Johnny Weir" kicks off, the figure skating champion has a lot of advice for everyone who is on reality television, including the star of TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."

“I got set up on a blind date during the filming of the show. I was shamelessly flirting with several people, and there is a time and a place and that wasn’t in front of cameras,” reveals Weir. “What makes me feel a little bit bad is now I’m married. Now him and his Russian family are going to see all this. There are all sorts of inappropriate things on the show: I ride a mechanical bull, I get my ass waxed, and I wear entirely too much makeup for the whole season. But I hope the season does well so we can do a Season 3.”

Weir is now in training for his last Olympics and says he has a lot to do before he is ready. However, one thing he doesn’t need is a war with America’s new tiny star.

“I don’t need a throw-down with a 4-year-old,” he says, laughing. (For the record, Alana is 7.)
