Millennium Tower San Francisco Named One Of The Top Ten Residences In The World (PHOTOS)

Local Residence Named One Of The Best In The World

Wealth management publication Worth magazine released its list of the top ten residential buildings in the world this month with a heavyweight collection that includes the famous One Hyde Park in London, Daniel Libeskind's Sao Paulo masterpiece and Frank Gehry's first residential project in Asia. And coming in at number nine is San Francisco's very own Millennium Tower.

"We are extremely proud to be named one of the top ten residential buildings in the world by Worth magazine," said Richard G. Baumert, partner at Millennium Partners, to The Huffington Post. "This incredible honor is a testament to the unparalleled architecture and design, luxury services and amenities, and unique lifestyle and experiences afforded to residents of Millennium Tower."

Clocking in at a staggering 58 stories, the late-modernist blue-glass Millennium Tower is the tallest residential building west of the Mississippi. Inside is a variety of uber-luxury condos, a pool and outdoor terrace, a wine tasting room and cellar, and owner's bar and lounge, a fitness center and children's room and Michael Mina restaurant RN74.

Famous residents include Tom Perkins of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, football executive Carmen Policy and Hall of Fame football icon Joe Montana.
