Fall TV 2012: Is TV Finally Getting More Diverse?

Is TV Finally Getting More Diverse?

Every new TV season, there are stories written about the phenomenal talent coming to TV ... then there are stories about the talent we still don't see enough of: Minorities.

But this 2012 season isn't as white-washed as others -- the deeper you dig into supporting casts, the more diversity you'll find on TV this fall.

We've rounded up some characters we're excited to see on our TVs this year, from series leads like Andre Braugher on ABC's "Last Resort" and Mindy Kaling, who's heading up Fox's "The Mindy Project," to scene-stealing supporting actors like NeNe Leakes on NBC's "The New Normal."

Take a look through our gallery, then tell us: Is TV finally making a change now that it's 2012?
