Julie Bowen dropped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to chat about the new season of "Modern Family," and the subject of Sofia Vergara's dancing came up. The cast has grown close over the years they've been doing the show. So close that they flew down to Mexico to help Vergara celebrate her most recent birthday.
Bowen talked about Vergara's criticism of American dancing, specifically at events like weddings and parties. Then, dropping into her spot-on Sofia Vergara impression, Bowen said, "it’s really easy to dance when you’re American, you just have to do one thing ... but in my country you have to do this!"
And then she showed what has to be done in Colombia, according to Vergara.
It was a big event for Vergara beyond just being her birthday party. The cast was on-hand for her engagement as well. Bowen told Celebuzz there are no details of the wedding just yet, but she's excited and anticipates a private event, perhaps barefoot on the beach.
