Justin Tranter Loves Glitter And Blood Spattered Boots (Video)

A Look Inside The Closet Of Lady Gaga's Favorite Frontman

Chances are you know Justin Tranter. If not by name, you might know the lyrics to his smash hit "Magnetic Baby," or perhaps you've bought a piece of jewelry from his collection, Fetty, sold at Urban Outfitters. Maybe you've seen his platinum blonde locks in the latest Patrick McMullan party photo. One way or another, Tranter has probably seeped into your life. If you are one of the lucky few who has gotten the chance to actually speak with him, you'll know that there is so much more to the "Semi Precious Weapons" frontman than meets the (heavily glittered) eye.

The Illinois native who grew up in the 'burbs has since lived all over the country, but finally settled in Los Angeles where he can afford to do nothing but write music -- not that his band isn't already wildly successful (he counts Kate Moss, Gaga and Perez Hilton as fans). Although music is Tranter's biggest passion, when he recently invited Stylelist Blogger Network members Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum of StyleLikeU into his home, his crazy closet and fearless personal style made us think that this diva's heart belonged to fashion.

Tranter is full of fashion quirks -- for example, every year he picks a color for his wardrobe "just because [he] thinks it’s the most obnoxious thing anyone could ever do." (This year it's all about burgundy.) He also isn't afraid to dress in a very feminine way and cover his body in tattoos of anything that inspires him. Unexpectedly the rockstar's biggest fear is not to be loathed but to be average -- I think he squashed that concern when he purchased his third pair of custom-made glitter booties. Justin Tranter may be a lot of things, but average certainly isn't one of them.

Watch the video above to find out why he wears his own face on his t-shirts.
