And what better way to enjoy that land than with a fantasy estate with the extra $10-to-$80 million that you have been diligently saving up. These sprawling, extravagant homes are the most expensive homes on the market in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, according to Realtor.com.
We took a look at the three most expensive -- and expansive, some of these properties have footprints of nearly 40,000 square feet on massive plots that are hundreds of acres -- homes in each state. These trophy homes range from the low $10 millions to the high-$70 millions and many of which would probably require a full time staff to keep up.
