Reddit user proposing_gf didn't have to battle seven evil exes to propose to her boyfriend, Dylan.

But she still pulled off her proposal "Scott Pilgrim" style.

The Redditor took her boyfriend on a scavenger hunt around Toronto leading him to different places featured in the best-selling comic book series. At the final location, Casa Loma, Dylan opened an envelope to reveal a comic: a drawing by proposing_gf that said "Dylan gained a fiancée."

"It is clear I am not an artist but this part was important to me," proposing_gf wrote on the Imgur post. "He looked at me extremely confused until I pulled out the ring box." See the album below for pictures of each stop along the scavenger hunt.

The proposal even got them noticed by the comic books' author, Bryan Lee O'Malley, who tweeted about the "nerds in love."
