A toaster is one place in your home where crumbs just seem to constantly build up. It’s also one of the hardest appliances to clean and often gets neglected. Sometimes these little scraps may even start to smoke. Luckily, our friends at Real Simple found a way to clean a toaster easily.
First, unplug your appliance. Then, remove, wash and dry the tray. Finally, hold the toaster upside-down over the trash can or sink, and tap out any remaining crumbs.
Pretty easy, right? It’s a great tip to avoid smokey situations and a big mess.
