Pablo Stanley Gets Dark With 'Yesterday' Comic Inspired By Beatles' Hit (PHOTO)

Over time, the Beatles' "Yesterday" has become one of those cute songs sung on road trips or gathered round a campfire, along with other seemingly mild tunes like John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane" or Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide." Except, oh wait, all those songs are incredibly sad.

In case you forgot the message, here is a traumatizing comic by Pablo Stanley to remind you that "Yesterday" is no sing-a-long. It's a song about love, loss, and

yesterday

What do you think, readers? Did Stanley capture the essence of McCartney's words? If you're feeling really down (and rightly so), we suggest you try another of Stanley's comics: "Imagine" by John Lennon. This will make you feel better, we promise!
