Monday's games proved once again that things are as tight as ever in the American League.

Heading into the day's action with a one-game lead over the Tigers in the AL Central, the White Sox were able to remain ahead thanks to a 5-4 comeback win over the Indians. Adam Dunn rescued Chicago from its sixth straight loss with a three-run home run in the eighth inning, his second of the game and 41st of the season.
