"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is returning to TV this weekend in a new CG cartoon series on Nickelodeon.
The rebooted series will be voiced by some notable names, including "American Pie" star Jason Biggs as Leonardo, "Lord Of The Rings" veteran Sean Astin as Raphael and "Parenthood's" Mae Whitman as April O'Neil.
In this clip from the premiere, the heros in a half shell spring into action when they see April being jumped by a truck-full of thugs.
Meanwhile, a planned movie reboot of the franchise that was set to be produced by Michael Bay is now on hold after portions of the leaked script ignited an internet firestorm.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" premieres Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. ET on Nickelodeon.
