CAUSE: What do gymnast Gabby Douglas, singer Ryan Beatty, and Victoria Justice have in common? They've all taken AT&T's pledge to never text and drive. This week, Gabby kicked off the "No Text on Board" pledge day in her hometown of Virginia Beach. We asked her about why joined the movement and what she's been up to post-London.

GET INVOLVED: To take the pledge and join AT&T's campaign, visit ItCanWait.com.

Why did you decide to support AT&'T's "No Text on Board" pledge day?"It's very important to not text while driving. If I can be on board to help save lives, then I'm there!"

Are you planning on learning how to drive soon?"Yes, I am. I'll be happy when I get my license!"

How does it feel to be back with your teammates on the Kellogg's Tour?"It feels great. We all missed each other. After London, we went our separate ways to our hometowns, but we're all so happy to be back on the team together and to perform."

We read that you're working on a memoir. How's that going?"I'm working on a book mainly to share my story and where I came from -- I'm excited about it."

How do you find the time to write while you're on tour?"I have a writer who's going to write the book with me."

You've met so many interesting people since London -- hanging with Michelle Obama on Jay Leno and performing at the MTV VMA Awards with Alicia Keys. Is there anyone who you're still itching to meet?"My teammates and I really want to meet Usain Bolt. We didn't get a chance to meet him in London!"
