Kirstie Alley Admits She's Not Out To Win 'Dancing With The Stars' On 'The Tonight Show' (VIDEO)

Kirstie Alley's Not Looking To Win 'Dancing With The Stars'

Kirstie Alley may be moving on the dance floor as one of the returning all-stars on the latest season of "Dancing With the Stars," but "DWTS" wasn't the first television show she competed on. A younger, and apparently quite broke, Kirstie Alley was a competitor on "Match Game." Of course, since this was "The Tonight Show," Jay Leno had a clip of her appearance.

Unlike some guests who cringe at footage of them from long ago, Alley was delighted. "This was as exciting to watch as it was to win it, I have to tell you. I was so poor," she lamented. Alley made $6,000 on the show, which she said felt like $6 million.

As for "Dancing With the Stars," Alley avoided elimination during the opening week -- that dubious honor went to Pamela Anderson -- but she scored the second lowest marks of the night. Luckily, she revealed that she's not in in it to necessarily win. She wants to get down to a size 0, even if only for a single day.

Watch Kirstie Alley on "Dancing With the Stars," Mondays at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
