'The Amazing Race 21' Premiere: Chippendales Dancers Can Eat, But Can't Find An Abacus (VIDEO)

'The Amazing Race 21': Chippendales Dancers Strong Eaters

Chippendales represents on the latest season of "The Amazing Race" with teammates James and Jaymes. While they had a strong showing throughout the episode, they nearly got eliminated when they couldn't find a woman with an abacus. In fact, the team that won this leg -- and thus a chance at $2 million instead of the usual $1 million -- couldn't find her either.

Perhaps not enough people know what an abacus is anymore.

Nevertheless, Amy and Daniel found her right off the bat, and then proceeded to tell Abbie and Ryan where she was when asked. Then, in the foot race to the pit stop immediately thereafter, Abbie and Ryan flew past them. This could very well be because Amy was running on two prosthetics -- her lower legs and feet are both artificial.

James and Jaymes also had to be told where the woman was, as did several teams. Considering all they had to do was find her, this particular challenge proved daunting for several competitors, as the order of the finish changed dramatically from the order people left the previous challenge.

It was literally a matter of seconds between the Chippendales and the last place team. In fact, James and Jaymes are in the race only because they ran past Rob and Sheila on the way to the pit stop, beating them by seconds.

Ten teams continue "The Amazing Race" on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
