'Hoarders': One Hoarder's Sister Says She Wants To Hurt Him (VIDEO)

'Hoarders': Sister Wants To Hurt Her Brother

The ugly reality is that mental illness can tear families apart. Especially if the condition goes undiagnosed and misunderstood. On the latest installment of "Hoarders," some of Alvin's family members said some shocking things, as did he.

Alvin described his siblings as "the sisters from Hell." But one of them lashed out against him in far harsher terms.

"I hate him. I wanna hurt him. I really do," she said. "If I could blow his f*cking head off, I would do it!"

This came after Alvin had hoarded their mother's home. He was living with her, and conditions in the house had deteriorated terribly. After their mother fell and hurt herself, things got ugly between the sisters and their brother.

It was theorized during the show by the professionals on hand that Alvin may have some form of autism, along with his hoarding tendencies. They helped him improve the condition of the home dramatically. Hopefully, the cleaner house can serve as prelude to an improvement in the family's relationships as well.

"Hoarders" features new stories every Monday at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
