Best friends for 91 years, Joseph Katz and Al Spiegal celebrated their 100th birthdays together in Lauderhill, Fla. on Saturday.
The party, which took place at the Inverrary Diner near their homes in Florida, was one for the books.
Spiegal’s actual birthday was August 26, but he waited until his best friend's birthday on September 29 to celebrate. Both of their families flew in from the northeast to be with the centennials, ABC News reports.
"I feel surprised that I'm 100," Spiegel told Local 10 News.

Katz, however, told ABC News that he'd been looking forward to turning 100 for a long time. To be able to celebrate it with his best friend was "just wonderful," he said.
Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., the lifelong friends went to the same elementary school, and worked for the same company for the majority of their lives.
According to Yahoo News, Katz had a few simple words of wisdom for anyone else looking to live to a 100.
"You don't reach 100 just like this. With your body, you've got to use it, not abuse it. Live the right kind of life. Take care of yourself," Katz said.
Then he added, "Just keep breathing, that's the secret to my longevity."
