Richard Belzer Makes Rape Joke, Gives Heil Hitler Salute To Fox News On 'Good Day New York' (VIDEO)

Richard Belzer Gives Nazi Salute In Bizarre 'GDNY' Interview

Richard Belzer's interview on "Good Day New York" went off the rails Wednesday when the comedian and "Law & Order: SVU" actor made a series of off-color jokes that culminated in a "Heil Hitler" salute aimed at Fox News.

The trouble started when Rosanna Scotto asked if "Law & Order: SVU" might be able to find a role for her co-host David Price. After a brief pause, Belzer said, "A thought, a thought ... if he gets molested and banged in the ass, maybe." As the interview ground to an awkward halt, Belzer asked, “Do we have the five second delay?” Price, slightly under his breath, responded, “That’s the end of Belzer and the end of me."

The live TV weirdness escalated to another level at the end of the interview when Scotto, still reeling from Belzer's previous comment, tried to gracefully end the segment. Belzer, who is Jewish, raised his left hand and gave a "Heil Hitler" salute. Directing the gesture at Fox News, he said, "Say heil to your colleagues at the other division."
