WASHINGTON -- The Daily Grill's downtown location at 18th and M streets NW recently underwent a major $250,000 renovation, which recrafted the bar and added communal tables and new booths, complete with a lighting scheme that aims to create more of a "social and intimate vibe."

According to a media advisory:

The redesign includes an expansion of the drink menu including ten new taps, a $4 handle, premium martinis, and wine specials. New draft selections include: Schlafly Pilsner from Missouri, Brooklyn Oktoberfest from New York, Maryland-made Flying Dog Old Scratch Amber, Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale from Maine, Dogfish Head Midas Touch from Delaware and Kelly's Irish Cider from Florida.

The updated bar menu features $3-5 happy hour specials with new items including:
Pub Burger
Crab Cake BLT
Chicken Sausage & Arugula Lavash
Crispy Naked Wings
Parmesan Truffle Frites
Capitol Dog

The Daily Grill hosted a party on Wednesday night to celebrate the refurbished space. Click through the photos below to take a peek.
