Police officials have released a surveillance video showing a man following a 69-year-old Bronx man into a Bronx elevator and brutally beating him.
The suspect is then seen yanking off a chain from the man's neck before fleeing.
CBS reports the assault took place on September 26. Police are still searching for the suspect, believed to be in his 20's and roughly 5-feet-4-inches tall.
On the same day, an elderly man was violently mugged by two men stealing his iPhone in Isham Park.
