OtherVoices: Third Party Candidates Debate The Economy (WATCH)

WATCH: Third Party Candidates Debate The Economy On HuffPost Live

In the wake of last night’s first presidential debate, HuffPost Live hosted a debate to hear the voices of our third-party candidates.

Hosts Marc Lamont Hill and Alicia Menendez moderated the discussion with Andre Barnett, presidential candidate for the Reform Party, Gary Johnson, presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party, and Rocky Anderson, presidential candidate for the Justice Party.

The first topic was the economy. Marc kicked off the debate by asking each candidate how he would create new jobs, a topic that’s been central to Obama and Romney’s pitch to America.

"We have to generate competition abroad to bring work back over to the US," said Barnett. "It's never going to work any other way."
