Are you kidding, Michael Phelps?

The most decorated Olympian of all-time retired after the London Olympics and decided to take on golf. Competing at the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland, Phelps added this long-range putt to his career highlight reel.

On the sixth hole, Phelps putted from 159 feet away for his second shot on a par-4 and nailed it. Phelps raised his arms, gave a nice Tiger-like fist pump and jogged to the hole to retrieve his ball.

"This is something I do want to improve on," Phelps said of his golf game while visiting the Ryder Cup last week. "This is something that my friends can still beat me on the course. I want to give them a challenge once in awhile."

It looks like he's making progress.

ST. ANDREWS, Scotland (AP) — Swim great Michael Phelps upstaged some of golf's finest when he holed a 51-yard putt for a net hole-in-one during the second round of team play at the Dunhill Links Championship on Friday.

Phelps, who is playing the team event with a 16 handicap, drove the front edge of the green at the par-4 sixth hole at Kingsbarns before sinking his lengthy downhill second-shot putt.

Because the winner of 18 Olympic gold medals had a stroke on the hole, he signed for a 'one' on his scorecard.

"That was the longest putt I've ever holed," he said. "It was pretty incredible, watching it dive in was a pretty cool feeling. So to be able to have a net hole-in-one was pretty special.

"Even without that, this trip would have been very special, just having the opportunity to come over here and play among some of these players has been absolutely incredible."

Phelps recorded a net eagle 'two' at the next with professional partner Paul Casey. They moved to 9-under overall.

Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee and his amateur partner, Hugh Courtney Jr., lead the team format at 21 under.
