It seems like the easiest way to land a reality show these days is to be the former spouse of someone famous.
Need proof? VH1 recently greenlit a second season of "Hollywood Exes," a reality show offering a glimpse into the lives of celebrity ex-wives as they "adjust their own courses without their former husbands and make a name for themselves." And earlier this week, TLC began production on "Starter Wives," a four-episode series following the ex-wives and ex-girlfriends of famous faces like 50 Cent and Lamar Odom.
Both shows got us thinking about the celeb exes we'd love to see on the small screen. Click through the slideshow below to see who made it into our dream cast -- and to find out what details about their marriages we'd really want them to reveal. Add your picks in the comments!
What really went down the night of Tiger Wood's fateful November 2009 car accident that triggered revelations about his cheating ways? If it's anything like "Saturday Night Live's" version of the events, it's a helluva story -- and one of many questions we hope Tiger's ex, Elin Nordegren, would dish about on our hypothetical reality show.
Every reality show needs a major drama queen. And if we learned one thing from Peter Cook during the lengthy custody battle he and ex Christie Brinkley recently waged, it's that this guy knows how to bring the drama. He did, after all, label Christie a "narcissistic egomaniac" who was attempting to "publicly castrate" him in order to drum up publicity for herself. With name-calling skills like that, we can't wait to hear what he'll say about his fellow castmates.
Because every reality show drama queen needs a rival, we're also choosing Heather Mills, former model and ex-wife of Paul McCartney. Plus, we're dying to know if she really dumped a glass of water on McCartney's lawyer's head in court.
Michael Lohan, father to Lindsay and ex of Dina, has been all fired up lately over Dina's appearances on "Dr. Phil" and "Entertainment Tonight." "How sick, how low and how devious can Dina get? Dina just did 'ET' to try to change public opinion. What, did she sober up for a day to do the show?" he said in an email to columnist Rob Shuter. "Is this the only way this jobless and soulless hard-working mother can make money?" We can't say for certain, but we're pretty sure Lohan would love to put his ex on blast on a reality show.
Dita Von Teese
What did model/burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese see in ex-husband Marilyn Manson? And how weirded out was she when Manson's girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood, suddenly started morphing into her lookalike? On our dream reality show, Dita would 'fess up.
In April 2011, former NFL-player Tiki Barber left his pregnant wife, Ginny, for the family's 23-year-old babysitter -- if that's not the ultimate reality show sob story, we don't know what is.
