This week's wardrobe malfunctions (and close calls) gave us the typical blunders but with some lethal twists. While we were still recovering from the epic wardrobe malfunctions at the Emmys, our trained eyes found a slew of other malfunctions, including some shocking exposed nipples and a mommy mishap. Check out the slideshow to see our picks for who else came closest to a fashion fail.

  • Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian looked absolutely bootylicious in a green velvet Gucci dress at a Midori Makeover Party on September 25th but when she turned around it was revealed that she was literally bursting out of it! Luckily Kim's assistant and Mom Kris Jenner were on hand to refasten the dress. Beware tight dresses on the red (white?) carpet, Kim!

  • Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is having all sorts of issues with her clothes this week. When she was spotted on October 3rd heading to the Children's Museum in Miami, Florida, with sister Kourtney, little Penelope and Mason, she looked to be uncomfortable in her low-cut black dress. The curvy reality star seems to have gone braless -- a daring move when you're juggling a bunch of kids. With all these fashion blunders we wonder if Kanye's glad he didn't bring her to Paris Fashion Week after all.

  • Shontelle

Singer Shontelle attended the 2012 Vanidades' Icons of Style gala on September 27th in a getup that revealed a lot more than we're used to -- the entire outfit was completely sheer (maybe she was inspired by another daring Barbadian singer?). We understand you have an awesome bod, Shontelle, but maybe a gala wasn't the best place to teeter so close to the wardrobe malfunction edge?

  • Kat McPhee

Kat McPhee's outfit at the Samsung Galaxy S III M83 performance event on October 3rd was once again not exactly a "smash." The tight jeans didn't look particularly comfortable especially paired with a completely sheer top. We can't imagine that she was too relaxed at this event.

  • Melanie Lynskey

Melanie Lynskey wore a beautiful white lace dress to the premiere of "Nobody Walks." Sound's like a safe look, right? Not exactly -- the actress paired the sheer bodice with a visible hot pink bra. We love good girl vs. bad girl contrast when it comes to clothes, but the "Two and a Half Men" star's look was definitely a little risky under all of those flashbulbs.

  • Ashley Benson

"Pretty Little Liars" actress Ashley Benson is really trying to break out of that good girl mold. Like fellow squeaky-clean actresses Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens, she's one of the bikini clad partiers in Harmony Korine's latest film "Spring Breakers." She seemed to still be in character at the launch of "Just Dance 4" on October 2nd, wearing a sheer top with her black bra completely visible. Although this was a pretty timid bad girl move, it's certainly not a very safe look if you're worried about exposing too much under the flashbulbs.

  • Lauren German

TV actress Lauren German attended NBC's "Chicago Fire" premiere in a less than stellar outfit that we're pretty sure she bought (skivvies included) from American Apparel aka the House of Perve. Now it makes sense why the star's bod is on full display, American Apparel CEO ,Dov Charney, was behind it.

  • Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer has certainly made a promising transition from child actress to leading lady with her breakout role in "Joyful Noise". Her her stunning wardrobe, which has landed her on many of our best dressed lists, has also garnered the star some positive attention. This barely-there top she wore to BET's "106 & Park" is making us nervous though. We're hoping the peek-a-boo bra action and midriff-bearing are not the trademarks of the newly adult Keke. Who know what kind of wardrobe malfunctions can come of that?

  • Sofia Vergara and Her Sexy Emmy Split

Sofia Vergara Tweets about her backside wardrobe malfunction.
