While the Houston Texans are off to their best start in franchise history with a 4-0 record, the New York Jets are in a tailspin. While the 2-2 record may seem out of sync with the doom and gloom around the team, anyone who witnessed Gang Green's 34-0 blowout loss at home to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4 has hard time feeling optimistic about this misfiring team.

The Jets will host the Texans in the fifth edition of "Monday Night Football" in hopes to get that bad taste out of their mouths. But with Santonio Holmes and Darrelle Revis among the Jets players missing from the lineup, Houston is in a good position to keep New York reeling. However, Jets fans might find comfort knowing that three of the teams Houston has blown out have a combined win total of four so far (Miami, Jacksonville and Tennessee).

Unfortunately for Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, and maybe even his (for now) back-up Tim Tebow, he will have to try moving the chains against the No. 1 ranked defense in the league. After three consecutive games of completing less than 50 percent of his passes, perhaps Sanchez is due for a comeback performance.

Will the Jets bounce back from the beating they took on their home turf? Or will Houston remain unbeaten heading into Sunday night's showdown with the Green Bay Packers?
