'Gossip Girl' Ratings: Final Season Debuts To Abysmal Numbers

So ... No One Watched 'Gossip Girl'

"Gossip Girl" kicked off its final season to abysmal ratings. The Season 6 premiere had less than 1 million viewers. About 800,000 people tuned in to see the elite Upper East Siders begin their final season.

The long-running series got a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic. However, these numbers are just preliminary and do not take into account online streams and DVR playback.

"Gossip Girl" isn't the only series to debut poorly this season. The final season of "30 Rock" kicked off to an audience of 3.5 million viewers and a 1.4 rating. CBS's "Made In Jersey" has performed horribly on Friday nights, premiering to 7.8 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. In its second outing it slipped to 6.8 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. "The Mob Doctor" premiered to an audience of 5.1 million people and a 1.5 rating. Its been shedding viewers ever since.

The CW brought "Gossip Girl" back for a final season of 10 episodes and the identity of the mysterious blogger (voiced by Kristen Bell) will be revealed by season's end. The cast already knows the identity of mysterious character.

"I just read it, so I know," Leighton Meester said on "The Talk." "It's not who I thought it was, though."

Meanwhile, "90210" had about 1 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.

On Fox, "The Mob Doctor" continued to struggle with 3.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating. "Bones" had 7.1 million viewers and 2.0 rating.

NBC continued to dominate Mondays with "The Voice" pulling in 12.6 million viewers and a 4.7 rating and "Revolution" coming in with 8.2 million viewers and a 3.1 rating.

CBS was preempted in the Houston market, but preliminary numbers show a strong outing for its comedy block. "How I Met Your Mother" had 8.1 million viewers and a 3.2 rating, "Partners" had 6.4 million viewers and a 2.2 rating, "2 Broke Girls" was tops with 10.1 million viewers and a 3.7 rating and "Mike & Molly" had 9.4 million viewers and a 3.1 rating. "Hawaii Five-0" had 9 million viewers and a 2.2 rating.

"Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" brought in 13.3 million viewers and a 2.1 rating. At 10 p.m. ET, "Castle" had 10.6 million viewers and a 2.2 rating.
