'HIMYM': Robin And Ted Fight Over Who Has The Best Relationship

While it was promised that this fall would be a relationship bloodbath on "How I Met Your Mother," so far the casualty count remains at one: Only Barney and Quinn have called it quits. And it's hitting Barney particularly hard, as he's struggling to fill the void his his life by falling back into his womanizing past -- he even declared it "Bangtoberfest" in honor of his valiant efforts.

Meanwhile, Robin and Ted competed over which of their relationships was stronger. But in truth, they were both deluding themselves. Robin was being driven crazy by how sensitive and emotional Nick was, while Ted couldn't stand what a slob Victoria was. By the end of the month, viewers were warned, both relationships would be over.

For now, though, the couples are trying their hardest to make it work, and kidding themselves that it will. But as viewers know, Ted has a yellow umbrella at a train station in his future, and Robin is on her way to being Mrs. Stinson, so it's only a matter now of getting them to the point in their lives where they're ready for those next steps.

The journey continues on "How I Met Your Mother," Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
