The X Factor” moved from boot camp to the judges’ homes for the final round of cuts before the show goes live next month. Each mentor has six contestants, but will only take four acts to the next round.

Demi Lovato is mentoring the “Young Adults” category -- which includes show villain/victim of editing CeCe “Leopard Face” Frey, who admitted it might be time to let go of her tough exterior.

“My one fear is that I would across unlikable, and that’s something I’ve been worried about this whole time, because I hide behind all of this,” she told Lovato.

“If you can put emotion into your performance, and people can see how vulnerable you get? That is what will set you apart,” Demi countered.

CeCe took Demi’s advice -- wowing the superstar and guest mentor Nick Jonas with her “CeCe-fied” version of LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It.”

And in a symbolic move, after the performance, CeCe announced she would be abandoning her trademark leopard-print face paint to help show the “real her.” CarterMatt declared CeCe the standout performer of the night, and Tweeters were feeling it, too -- they had the show trending.
