Tate Bennett, Ravenna Ravens Quarterback, Throws Game-Winning 'Wedding Bouquet' Touchdown Pass

Incredible 'Wedding Bouquet' Touchdown Pass Wins HS Football Game

With his team down 14-9 to the Field Falcons in the fourth quarter, Ravenna Ravens quarterback Tate Bennett completed a touchdown pass worthy of any blushing bride.

With less than a minute left in the game between division rivals of Ohio's Portage Trail - Metro league, the high school junior took the snap on fourth-and-4 on the Falcons' 7-yard line. He made the gutsy pass as he was being tackled, blindly lobbing the ball backward and over his head to find Warren Bradley in the end zone.

"Somebody get that man a groom and get him married!" the shocked announcer exclaims in the video.

The clip has made its way around the Internet, spurring discussion on whether the play was an example of uncanny in-game awareness or just a product of sheer luck. Rant Sports points out that either way, it makes for an incredible highlight, and who knows -- "this kid could be a future Heisman winner."

The Ravens (6-1) defeated the Falcons (5-2) 15-14 to move up to second place in the league standings.
