PHOTOS: 150+ Sites Partake In Open House Chicago

Ever wonder what that funky mansion down the street looks like on the inside? What about the corner bank that was built over a century ago? Or the city's oldest art academy?

On Saturday and Sunday, over 150 of the city's churches, museums, mansions and clubs have opened up their doors to the public -- free of charge -- as part of the Chicago Architecture Foundation's second annual Open House Chicago.

The citywide event offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at some of the city's greatest spaces. No advance registration or reservations are required -- participants are urged to just show up.
