Courtney Robertson, Ben Flajnik Split: 'Bachelor' Winner Returns Ring After Arie Luyendyk Jr. Hookup

Courtney Robertson Returns Engagement Ring

Well, looks like Courtney Robertson is officially over Ben Flajnik ... and on to the next one.

The "Bachelor" winner, 30, who got engaged to Flajnik, also 30, last fall, returned her engagement ring, just days after she was photographed kissing Emily Maynard's "Bachelorette" reject, Arie Luyendyk Jr.

According to Us Weekly, Robertson dropped off the 3-carat, $80,000 ring at the Neil Lane jewelry boutique in Los Angeles yesterday (Oct. 14). Allegedly "Bachelor" rules state that it is mandatory to give back the diamond if wedding plans are called off, considering producers foot the bill for the pricey rings.

“Sometimes they make exceptions,” Flajnik told In Touch of the ring situation. “We’ve been together for 10 months. You have to be together for two years to keep the ring.”

Robertson and Flajnik, who had the most controversial on-air courtship in "Bachelor" history, announced their split on Oct. 5, saying they simply grew apart.

“We weren’t as similar as we thought," Flajnik revealed, adding, "Things just changed ... it was a totally mutual agreement."

And since that agreement, Robertson has been dating again. She was pictured spending a romantic evening with Luyendyk Jr. at Quiessence Restaurant in Phoeniz, Ariz., on Oct. 11 and according to TMZ, the pair couldn't keep their hands off each other.
