Man Reunited With Car Two Years After Forgetting Where He Parked It

In a moment straight out of the cult hit 'Dude, Where's My Car?' a German man was reunited with his lost vehicle on Friday -- two years after he forgot where he left it.

KSL News reported that after a night of drinking in 2010, the now 33-year-old craftsman was unable to find his car. After securing an alternative means of getting home that night, he returned the next day to look for his car but it was nowhere to be found.

Eventually, the car's owner reported his vehicle missing to the Munich police.

The car remained missing for two years, until last month when German authorities discovered it after a traffic warden noticed that its inspection stickers had expired.

According to theFW.com, the car was about three miles from the spot where the unnamed man originally thought he had parked it.

"The weird thing is that it turned up so far away, although the owner was pretty sure of where he had left it," said police spokesman Alexander Lorenz to KVUE.

In the rediscovered car's trunk were tools worth $51,600, including power drills and electric screwdrivers, Lorenz added.
