In this delightful YouTube video, an orchestra surprises an unsuspecting crowd in Germany with a rendition of the iconic Star Wars theme song.
The WDR Symphony Orchestra organized a flash mob fit for nerds at the Wallraf Square in Cologne, Germany. The performance starts with just a conductor and a trumpet player, then quickly increases to an entire orchestra playing the iconic theme song to the opening credits of Star Wars.
"BEST FLASHMOB EVER!!!!!!," declared one YouTube user after watching the smile-inducing clip.
But this is not the first time this year that a "Star Wars" flash mob has tickled our fancy.
In May, The Huffington Post reported that a "super-fan" of the legendary movie series planned an epic 'Star Wars'-themed flash mob proposal to pop the question to his girlfriend.
