Can Bruno Mars really do it all? Judging from his performance hosting Saturday Night Live, the answer is an absolute YES! Our favorite Doo-Wopping Hooligan showed he could act, sing and be funny all in one 90-minute stretch. (Check out the show's recap and skits)
Stepping up to the SNL stage to promote his "Unorthodox Jukebox" album, Bruno proved that he wasn’t afraid to poke fun at himself. Throughout the night, he dressed in drag, threw out Michael Jackson impressions and battled a giant Yeti!
The crowd seemed to eat it up, especially when it came to the musical numbers. With the help of a lively backing band, Mars delivered powerful renditions of “Locked Out of Heaven” and “Young Wild Girls.”
TV critics seemed impressed too, with Entertainment Weekly calling Bruno’s episode one of the “best of the season.” And interestingly enough, yet another Tr3s fave will take the reigns in two weeks. Look for Louis CK to host SNL on November 3.
