Freshly-dissed Fisher Island hosts some of the ritziest digs in the Miami area -- but another town is coming for that title.

According to Realtor.com, August's median home prices were highest in the 33109 on exclusive Fisher Island, which is solely accessible by boat or helicopter.

The data also shows that Key Biscayne is late summer's runner-up, boasting a median price of $1.149 million compared to Fisher Island's $2.59 million.

But Forbes says the two wealthy enclaves better watch their backs. In the magazine's list of the "100 Most Expensive Zip Codes" in America, southern Miami-Dade's 33156 -- home to the entirety of the Village of Pinecrest and parts of Coral Gables and Kendall -- ranked as one of the nation's priciest neighborhoods, leading Miami-Dade communities on the list for the first time at number 15.

The steep bump in south Dade's housing market can be credited to rebounding home construction and prices, which finally reached pre-recession levels in late summer, reports the South Florida Business Journal.

Check out what a buyer could get for the median asking price in each of Miami-Dade's most expensive zip codes, according to Realtor.com's August data:
