Brittany Taltos' Truck Accident Leaves 'Jersey Shore' Star With 15 Stitches

Sometimes it pays to be hard-headed.

Brittany Taltos, a reality TV star who gained notoriety after briefly appearing on "Jersey Shore" and "Bachelor Pad" with her twin sister, seems to have escaped serious injury after a pickup truck allegedly drove over her head while she was sunbathing.

According to the Gainesville Sun, 23-year-old Taltos said she had headphones on while sleepily lounging in her front yard in Gainesville, Fla., on Sunday afternoon.

Her friend backed a Chevy Silverado through the yard to collect a cooler from their front porch, claimed Taltos on Facebook, but apparently didn't realize he'd driven over her head (or even know she was there) until she began screaming.

“I woke up with half a tire in my face,” she told the Independent Florida Alligator.

After paramedics rushed her to the hospital, firefighters observed a "noticeable depression in the lawn" -- likely from the weight of the truck on Taltos' head.

The Associated Press reports that Taltos required 15 stitches on the side of her head. She also suffered ear canal damage.
