DeAngelo Hall Ejected: Redskins CB Berates Referee, Gets Tossed Against Steelers (VIDEO)

WATCH: Meltdown Leads To Ejection

Roger Goodell won't have to go out of his way to scold and/or fine DeAngelo Hall after his ejection from the Redskins-Steelers game. The Washington cornerback apparently already has his people working to set up a meeting with the NFL Commissioner.

With Pittsburgh holding a 27-12 lead late in the fourth quarter, Hall and Pittsburgh receiver Emmanuel Sanders got tangled up during an extremely physical exchange. An official threw a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct on Hall. At this point, things jumped up a notch.

Hall approached one of the officials, took off his helmet and began berating him with what looked to be plenty of expletives. As the ref backed up, Hall threw a finger in his face and drew a couple more flags. He was ejected but wouldn't back off, even as his teammates went over to drag him away.

Two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties were called resulting in a 30-yard gain for Pittsburgh.

"I'm not going to discuss that particular play. I've got a meeting set up with Commissioner Goodell on Monday. Me and him will talk about it, watch the film, figure out what went down and hopefully get to the bottom of this," said Hall after the game, via CSN Washington. But when a reporter informed him that the NFL office was closed on Monday, he continued. "Well, we're going to figure something out. I've got my agent calling him and trying to set something up."

While it's unclear from Hall's comments what he needs to figure out with Goodell, it may be an open-and-shut case for the Commish considering the defensive back's history. Hall has been disciplined in the past for actions toward the officials and has ripped the men in stripes along with his own coaches after losses.

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan was "very disappointed" by Hall's ejection and told reporters, via Grant Paulsen of 106.7 THE FAN, that "you [can] never put your team in that type of situation."
