Hurricane Sandy Darkens Broadway And Other Stages

The impending arrival of Hurricane Sandy has led to widespread cancellations of performances around the region. All Sunday and Monday night Broadway performances have been called off, according to a spokeswoman for the Broadway League, a trade association of theater owners and producers. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster or Telecharge will be automatically refunded within 10 business days. Tickets purchased at theater box offices can be refunded or exchanged, subject to availability, at the original point of purchase.
