'The Walking Dead': The Governor Captures Andrea And Michonne, Brings Them To Woodbury (VIDEO)

'The Walking Dead': Andrea, Michonne Meet The Governor

After spending last week with Rick and the gang, "The Walking Dead" left the confines of the prison to spend an episode with Andrea and Michonne. This led to the introduction of Woodbury and the Governor (David Morrissey), who never reveals his real name. It also marked the not-so-joyous reunion of Andrea and Merle -- Daryl's brother who chopped his own hand off back in Season 1.

Andrea and Michonne were captured by the Governor's men, along with the pilot of a helicopter that had crashed nearby. The Governor presented a relatively pleasant, though demanding, demeanor to the women, with Andrea a bit more receptive to his charms than Michonne. Or perhaps she was receptive to the relative oasis that was Woodbury after months on the run.

The Governor's true colors were revealed -- to the viewers at least -- when he promised the chopper pilot he'd find his military garrison and bring them into Woodbury. He found them, but then he mowed them all down and stole their vehicles and supplies instead. He then lied to the people of his community, telling them the walkers had killed the military men.

Will Andrea and Michonne figure out the truth, and will they be allowed to leave? Will they try to? So far, the Governor has only encouraged them to stay, with Andrea convincing Michonne to stick around; at least for a bit. The drama continues on "The Walking Dead," Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
