San Francisco's tech and business glitterati gathered at Dogpatch's Obscura Labs on Thursday for Fortune's 40 Under 40 Party, arguably the city's most coveted celebration of success.

While this year's list included industries that traversed the landscape, Bay Area tech was certainly the star, with Google's Larry Page and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg nabbing the top two spots. Marissa Mayer, who recently left Google for Yahoo!, came in at number three, while Twitter's Jack Dorsey and Google's Sergey Brin tied for fourth. AirBnb founder Brian Chesky also made the list.

At Thursday's party, several of the Fortune 40 were in attendance, including Polyvore founder Jess Lee, Change.org founder Ben Rattray, Method founders Eric Ryan and Adam Lowry and New York chef David Chang, who founded McSweeney's die-hard food magazine Lucky Peach.
